Profile:
Dr. Ana Maria Pi started her employment at Carlos Albizu University back in 1984, as an adjunct professor and clinical supervisor in the San Juan campus.

In 1987, she moved to Miami to hold the position of Director of the Goodman center. In 1988, she transferred to a full time position, in addition to providing clinical supervision services at the Goodman center. From 1994 to 1996, Dr. Pi once again, held the position of Director of the Goodman Psychological Services Center with a academic rank of associate professor. In 1997, became a full professor in the doctoral program, the position she currently holds.

Dr. Pi’s commitment with CAU did not start with her professional career. She completed her Masters and Doctoral degrees in the San Juan campus, and fondly remembers one of her mentors, Dr. Carlos Albizu-Miranda.

Dr. Pi’s academic background as a clinical psychologist has enabled her to supervise students and interns, as she continues to play a very active role in the Goodman Center. She is truly dedicated to the training of psychologists and mental health professionals.
Dr. Pi is attentive with students and responsive to their needs, demanding only accuracy and quality from them, enabling them to become the best professionals they can be.

Dr. Pi’s qualifications, accomplishments and experience are a highly valued component of the doctoral program. She is truly an integral member of this university and we are extremely fortunate to have her as part of our team.
